Farewell Contact Lenses

For the last 18 years, I must give much thanks to my contact lenses. They've been a part of me for most of my life and I am grateful for them. Why am I saying goodbye to them? Well next Wednesday I'm finally getting LASIK. I have been wanting to do this procedure since it first came out. I cannot be more excited for it. Before the procedure I'm not supposed to wear my contact lenses for a at least 5 days before. Today is my last day in them. It's going to be weird wearing my glasses for the next few days, but being able to see the clock in the middle of the night without squinting trumps this. Ta-ta contacts! It's been great!
